Now 1.5 years retired from a fascinating set of careers, all with hands on the work, the money eventually found me, and I got enough. Special effects, tech photog, biz theater, VxD, multimedia, web development, XD, with a fair number of programming and electronic hacks on the side. It's been good.

Enjoyed this ep. A piece you touched on, didn't fully unpack: "it's maybe not for you". OK, but why? I figure the path to big-shot goes through manager, and managers had seemingly miserable jobs throughout my years. I wanted to _DO_ the work, not watch. Hate paperwork, can't golf or brown-nose.

Riding my Yamaha Seca II (sorely missed these 20+ years) to the beach through rural South Carolina. Dressed head-to-toe in a black Aerostich suit, bright red helmet (matched the bike).

Saw most of my fave bands, but missed the Beatles and Zep. In high school, when Zep were on top, I couldn't be bothered to listen, mainly 'cuz Stairway is a pretty good song the first 15,000 times it's on, but then it gets old. Got the box in the 90s, and: The fervor of a convert.

Not a real thing. No one should discredit themselves by reposting something fake. Cassella is on maternity leave 'till the end of 2025. Wasn't there, didn't say this. Just a nice dream.

Oh yes. I fed a LOT of film into an E-6 line.
And editing 1/4-inch recording tape with a razor blade and splicing block too.
