We went on a truffle hunt with Jacky and his dog Olive from Truffiers Les Lucs. Pascale cooked up truffle treats from our findings. A special experience for us, if you are ever around Pont-de-Barret I can highly recommend.

We’ve headed north to stay with friends in Montélimar. Their dog, Abby, is a Beauceron—she’s a big girl, absolutely adorable, and already my new best friend. And by the way, there’s nothing quite like French market rotisserie chicken and potatoes. I’m a very happy chap.

Jane and I began the new year getting our steps up in Aix-en-Provence and taking an evening stroll through the harbour town of Sanary in the south of France, a beautiful place that glows as night falls. Hope you’ve all had a great start to 2026

What a year. Like every year, there were highs and lows, and like every year, we celebrated the highs with family and music. That same music and my beautiful family helped me make it through any lows that came our way. Thank you all for sharing this life with us.

Fontana di Trevi. I know this is a big tourist attraction but when you get here you understand why people come from around the world to see it. It’s just magical walking through the cobbled streets of old Rome. Of course we’ll be throwing in a couple of coins and making a wish.
