rented that game SPECIFICALLY because I saw it in magazines all the time lol. Another one for me was Comix Zone. I didn't have a genesis growing up, but my friends did, and they told me no one would every play that stupid game lol felt like it was everywhere for a hot minute,

Skipped school that day and drove 1hr to the closest city where I could buy the game. Didn't even know there was a collectors edition until I got there and saw them stocking the shelf. Ocarina was a game changer, and I'm happy I was a teenager during those years to experience that gaming era.

It's still impressive to make it to that age and not have the world crush all the happiness out of your soul to the point where you don't want to do anything. It might not hit as hard or be a rare thing, but it's still awesome to see people enjoying games at that age, I know I will be :)

a great exercise and example of seeing how we actually grow and change as people. That change and growth actually effects how we perceive and interact with all things in the world. The games never change, unless they are newer live service games, lol. Loved reading this!

yah, trying to explain to my kids the things she is doing and saying. They are teens, they are learning about government, the world, everything. And they are finding out quickly that the place they live is being made more dangerous by the people in charge, and they are scared
