Ppl with deteriorating mental health should be nowhere near a gun.

I think what surprises everyone is how rapidly the U.S has descended into authoritarianism and how most just go along with it. Some now openly describing themselves as fascists.
If nothing else it helps explain pre-WW2 Germany.

Let's keep things in perspective.
In 1998 One Nation received 23% of the Fed vote.
It has now "surged" from 6% to 12%.
Some crazies from the LNP have switched to crazies in One Nation.
No, the ground is not shifting.
L-NP and One Nation, stuck in the mud together.

Read about this in The Conversation. Aim is a simpler, less time consuming, more flexible process. Considerable detail not yet known. Many concerns are speculative at this stage.
But I think people should be able to supplement this NDIA assessment with medical and specialist reports if necessary.
