I've done it....I brought my vision to reality. And created..."The Baller's Nails." Instead of becoming rage induced killing machines they're just really good at basketball. And yes, the color scheme is inspired by the Lakers.

Got high and slapped some minis together. Ended up Kitbashing a Master of Execution with a Chaplin for my homebrew, and another Chaos Marine from what was left.

Wanted to model some clubs and experiment with a design. I'm proud of the 2 on the sides, but the middle is gonna take a lot of extra care. I want the panels on top to open like door hinges.

I also probably gotta rotate the handle, oops.

Got frustrated trying to make a 3D model so I dropped it and 3D kitbashed a African Warrior and Space Marine stls next to a standard intercessor. Its not pretty, but the vision is there.

Went back to an old project mech I was working on, finally got the joint from the body to the shoulders, and started on the arms. Should look into some hard surface modeling.
