Is a real boy.
Okay, I've got ILST and Green Bay recording for after Purdue, so it's time to sign off to avoid spoilers.

Let me also put out that I would be absolutely thrilled if Netflix becomes the main hub for boxing going forward. I think one big downside of boxing, historically, has simply been access. Netflix is about as accessible as it gets today. Now they just need to show real fights.

I think AJ was game to play along until Paul made it into a joke. Once the fists actually started flying, Paul crumpled like moldy fruit and had absolutely no ability to hurt AJ.

It seems a bit suspicious that everyone Jake Paul fights just seems to forget that boxing requires punching.

I knew it wasn't good. But I thought it would still be better than, say, Alabama or Mississippi.

On the plus side, as temps plunge into the negatives over the last couple days, the furnace has worked better than it has maybe since we moved into this house almost 15 years ago.

However this game turns out for Wabash (and it could very well go either way at this point), the style JCU plays is not enjoyable to watch in the slightest.

John Carroll might have the worst camera work I have ever seen at a basketball game. And it's entirely placement. It's obviously way too close to the court to capture everything. Surely that's a pretty easy problem to fix.

Just learned SMU has never beaten Purdue in volleyball. Now I'm super nervous about tonight.

We're officially in the time of year when I get all worked up about "Mary Did You Know?"

"Mary, how could you not know? There was a whole conversation with an angel! That really should stick in your mind!"

I went to the Wabash game tonight, so I've been bending over backwards not to have the Purdue game spoiled for me. Then my phone just pops this up for me while we wait in the Taco Bell line. Thanks, Google.

Welp. I think this Colts season just radically changed.

Everything is wrong in this timeline.

(This is a football post.)

The last time Wabash lost to Oberlin, they were so embarrassed they wouldn't lose again until the final four.
December 6, 2025 at 7:08 PM
I've been going to pretty much every home Wabash basketball game since I was a junior in high school and watching all the road ones since streaming became common in 2012 or so. This game against DePauw might be the first time I've been embarrassed.

It's very nice not to have to stress all night against Rutgers.

I'm guessing YouTube TV won't be getting the ESPN+ stuff just yet. I'm a bit frustrated to miss the opening rounds of Purdue volleyball.

Colts were just straight up robbed today.

Welp. I was mildly hopeful to stay competitive, but I think that TD right before half is enough for me.
November 29, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Purdue had an awfully tall task tonight, and this play-calling is making it worse.
November 29, 2025 at 1:56 AM
I loved bringing Singleton in there. I hated the play call, though.
November 29, 2025 at 1:26 AM
God damn. If Purdue does anything well, it's punting. Can't even do that right tonight.
November 29, 2025 at 12:58 AM
We'll see how long the Bucket Game stays on in this house.

There's a lot of automated bullshit I'd love to outlaw. I don't know if drive thru greetings are at the top of my list, but it's definitely top five.
