Deceiver #mushrooms everywhere in this young Oak #oodland in #Ireland. The whole forest floor is covered in many #fungi species right now.

One of Swallow nest cups I placed to encourage more birds to nest has done its job! 4 healthy nestlings
We normally only have 1 nesting pair which is low for the amount of outhouses around A pair of Spotted flycatchers nested successfully in another cup weeks earlier

They love sunny sheltered #forest rides with rough grasses like Cocksfoot & False brome etc (click on pics for more info) Keep an eye out for them this time of year.
