The craft of writing seems to be deleting all the ones that don't fit.

The horror of writing must be never knowing if what is left is pure garbage. 😀

So with work picking up, writing slows down. Still, 50k into my first draft of Statues Erode is a nice place to be.

Got a ship and crew and an unknown mission. What more could you ask for in a sci-fi?

Now it's time to find out if I can stick the landing 😬

Love the flow you bring to your writing. Really strong voices, draws you into the stakes through natural responses (legs shaking etc). And really good relationship to boot! 🔥

It is one of the few times I drift in the story out of a really tight perspective. But this is actually something that is currently happening to a character called Kaili. She is a young survivor on a colony and hasn't met Elara yet. She doesn't know that the ship is on its way even.
