After hanging our owl box in the Spring, today we spotted our first visitor. If he finds a mate, we could be seeing chicks in a few months. Eastern Screech Owl.

This is George. He’s a lone goose who has been injured at some point and is hanging out with us, his flock having moved on without him. He’s been around since the summer is is looking a lot healthier recently.
