This is right on the money. So many Italian-Americans (Ken Cuccinelli, Greg Bovino, Sheriff Joe) have become big immigration opponents, not realizing that the 1924 immigration quotas were actually imposed to keep people like their ancestors out of the country.

The ironic thing is that this piece doesn't exactly say anything new. Other news outlets have reported on the brutal conditions at CECOT. By spiking the story, CBS has turned it into a bigger issue than it otherwise would have been.
