the untextured room and ball physics really reminds me of messing around with tf2 spawn room beach balls on community servers—it's kind of a specific memory, but this is super reminiscent of it (in a good way)!

the time commitment feeling is true though. bc of those games i said screw it!! and started learning blender. just that itself eats up so much time, nevermind every other thing that goes into the medium n it feels like everyday is spread thin, overwhelming so. but! it's so worth trying anyways!

real! i played a couple indie psx games this year (fatum betula and mroi_) and they became some of my favorite games ever in terms of visual style. my eyes were glued to 5 different portions of the screen at once—there's just too much stuff to gush over, too many small details to fixate on.

which i guess is a bit inconvenient because i will most likely meet people online (no car + bumpkin) but i'm terrible at existing online. and i just feel fake existing in stuff like communities and servers.
