Had a prospective juror yesterday blatantly ask the judge/attorneys what a defendant’s immigration status is. Thankfully the judge shut him right down but wow people are getting really bold.

I work as a court reporter. Only a week in to the new administration, I’m already seeing and feeling the fear of people in the justice system, and rightfully so. I feel like I have a unique view into what Trump’s presidency and policies are going to do to the people of this country. Heartbreaking.
