Mine is a TV-always-on household. Though I believe in pausing or muting when we converse, because I'm always paying attention to what's on, at least a little bit.

The only exception is when I listen to a podcast instead.

Now they have a new owner, who can decide what they want to do. Bring back cancelled shows? Put new ones into production? Fire half the staff and try to buy WB? Anything is possible.

Most importantly, it's not Redstone's problem anymore.

I think the plan was, cancel as much as they can, while losing as few subscribers as possible. That way, their revenue looked bigger and their costs looked smaller.

This made them look more attractive to a buyer, so Redstone could negotiate a better price for her shares.
