Upon learning of Sakura's actions, instead of providing the love and respect, the understanding that Sakura was looking for, her mother looked @ her with disgust; something I can also relate to having happen with my parents as a trans child/teen. This throws Sakura into a rage, understandably;-

But back to the lore; Sakura's endless quest to achieve the perfection that would earn her mother's love and respect led her to do anything to procure it, including using living humans as nourishment for herself and her garden, to enrich her own beauty and aim for the ideal perfection.

Sakura's mother enforcing strict lessons and guidelines onto her to mold her into a "perfect" child reminds me of my parents forcing me into Christian gender conversion therapy; only for her mother to still be dissatisfied and abandon Sakura. As a trans kid I surpressed any expression of my gender-

#Dislyte solo character hcs starting w sakura!! Sakura's design is one of my absolute favs in the game, and I love how her design reflects her lore and her desire and love for beauty and youth. The combination of colors and fabrics is jus beautiful imo, I love how visible her clothing textures are.
