Yeah. My state, folks. TBH, there are a lot more people with common sense than you would think here. It’s the state legislators that are making us look extremely silly.

That reminds me of that one time my father in law sold a car and a week later realized he forgot about the gun he had hidden in a secret compartment in the driver’s door.

Thanks for this. I also follow family_it_guy on Instagram. His stuff is very insightful on keeping family secure as well.

That's our philosophy at home. Our kids know they are in a safe space and we are always available to them no matter what. We do keep them accountable and always have conversations with them, even when it gets difficult because, it's paramount they KNOW they can always talk to us. My wife is amazing.

We are never allowing our kids to play Roblox because of the stories I’ve heard about it.

My kids found my old gameboy advance micro and they are excitedly going through stash of cables to find the charger for it. I’m actually looking forward to seeing them play it.

That reminds me of an article in The Wired I read about this. The premise was engaging with users that were in AI “relationships”. It’s somewhat unsettling for me.

A good friend of mine who’s a sports fan once said, “sports is a waste of time.” I think of it once in a while when my favorite team is at the tail end of a loss. It helps a bit.

Seeing the sign that a fan made mocking us about the last win against them made my blood boil. Hopefully Elko has that on loop for next year.

My Texas grad sister just sprinkled a dose of “karma’s a bitch” at me about that today, and, honestly, I have no comeback for that.

Dunno about games but watching the original Tron on it was a gem.

Actually, I’m in a good place this year and more calm now regardless of the result. In fact, the only worry my wife has when my family comes over is my brother in law’s yelling at the TV because he believes he can coach his Texas team to victory.

My kids are doing their part, that is for sure.

I remember an interaction in college when a couple guys in a truck rolled up next to a woman in a car in the street in front of me. The passenger rolled down the window to talk to her. When she didn’t respond, he gave her the finger out the window as they drove off.

Maybe he’s saying they need to make more improvements to Electron. Because we all know it can be a resource hog when we need more compute.

I always stop by there and rave about their product. Looking forward to it!

Yeah. If you value stability, I can understand staying. However, I stayed at my last company for 15 years thinking it was stable and got the rug pulled under me.

Welp. Just looked it up. That just killed a 20+ years of relationship with Halo for me.

when I was a member of Society of Physics Students in college, we would have an alumni come in give a talk on their work once in a while. We had one come give a talk on the physics and mathematics of traffic flow. It was fascinating.

No sleepover yet but my wife showed me a brief video of a movie party our daughter had with her friends and, I’m scared.
