I remember when the joker picture was originally doing the rounds.
It’s been 8 years since PUBG or Fortnite came out. So pretty much the same amount of time as the between the new & old school joker.

As a Finnish person within the Finnish game industry this definitely made me “wait what did we do this time?” and do a double take before I got what it was saying. Just one of those evenings.

When you think about it, a sword is just a big knife.
And having a knife with you is always handy. Always.
A wand is just a stick. Having a stick is sometimes useful (decent for poking at stuff) but only sometimes. Also you gotta learn magic and who’s got time for that?

The climb to Hyperion while the music is getting ever louder, only to reach a crescendo as you get on top of the tower and watch it play its mad music. I stood there listening to the music for a good while.

I don’t think people with strong PCs are the target demographic for this. It’s more for those PC-curious people who are intimidated by building a PC or buying some random rubbish Windows pre-made.
That said, this is exactly what might get me personally _back_ to PC gaming. 🤔

But while they do present very male-y but I recall them being sterile and sexless in a manner? As in that this is removed from them?

I thought Mr. Norrel & Jonathan Strange had an interesting approach to magic: academic, down to earth & practical but with a hint of the mania & mental cost.
Robin Hobb had interesting takes on magic as well. 🤔
I’ve no experience with mystical & Eldritch magic tho, so can’t say about that.

There’s a weird lack of _good_ magic systems.
There’re some decent to good ones (Mr. Norrel & Jonathan Strange was an interesting take even if mundane) but especially the odd, weird, mysterious & Eldritch ones simply don’t seem to exist.
Or maybe I just don’t know of them? 🤔

But then I saw the fella opposite of her was also in a tank top & pauldrons + in the bottom left we’ve a fully armoured one.
Also, autocorrect is giving “Paul’s drones” for pauldrons for me as well. What nonsense is this?
