This premise may have been better suited for animation. Is no one curious about the existence/experience of all the joined children younger than the 1 child they've shown us? The avoidance feels more like an infant/toddler's inability to act as a part of the collective, not in service of the story

I definitely understand why they may not currently have the justification to create more mouths to feed, but there's an important difference between being unable to support their current population and never intending to procreate. In fact, this very dilemma is what made me think to ask the question

Seriously, no one is asking them basic questions you'd hope anyone would think of. Like, "It takes at most maybe a few thousand humans to see to the needs of the 12 immune, what are the of 7 billion humans doing all day?"

While i know what you mean by "not the end of humanity," it might actually be the end of human existence. No one(for some unfathomable reason) has asked them if the plan to continue having children 🤷‍♂️

Does law enforcement typically just read out their suspect's texts to the public? Isn't there a rule of evidence or something? Also, "Vehicle" "Old Man" "drop point" "my love" "squad car" "..." we're supposed to believe this was written by GenZ? Not to mention complete paragraphs and proper grammar
