I am never going to be a fan of a politician. That way lies disappointment. But Pritzker right now is the person I think is calibrating it right.

I'm not sure this is what revealed preference shows.

Most people do end up having kids. The ppl who have the most kids are the rich and the poor - those with resources and those who don't necessarily use marginal resources on more kids.

So RP is ⬇️ for the large middle due to resource constraints?

I think the thing with the debate about ‘Pro-Natalism’ is that everyone kind of dances around saying explicitly is that revealed preferences show lots of people think having kids of sort of sucks for the parent but is clearly necessary for society.

For those of you unfamiliar, that final look on Worf's face is not disgust or anger at being upbraided. It's concern. Concern that the man he respects more than any other thinks he is acting dishonorably. At this stage in the episode, he still thinks he is right, but his certainty is now rattled.
