Its mind blowing to think. There are up to 3 trillion planets in the Milky Way. Maybe more according to many. 🔭

Largest known Planet ROXs 4Bb eclipses Jupiter in comparison. Colors and characteristics vary by illustration but one consistency is what a beast of a Planet she is. 🪐🔭

There’s so much pain, anger, sadness and conflict on Earth. It’s why I keep my head in the clouds and eyes towards the stars. It’s so beautiful up there. May we all find the peace I find when I study the skies.🔭

As of today more than 2700 Exoplanets have been observed by Kepler. Stars with planets orbiting its habitat zones resembling Earth in multiple named Systems such as Kepler-62, hold the answers to the redundant question; Are we alone? I say, not a chance.

The closest Multi Planetary system is just 300 light years away. The ESO observed the system in 2020 with two large Earth-like Exoplanets orbiting a star.

Io. 1 of 4 Galilean Moons, has more active Volcanos than any other Moon or Planet in our Galaxy. Io’s surface contains high amounts of sulfur in addition to the constant flow of lava giving it, it’s unque color. Despite its scary appearance it’s one of the most unique objects in our Solar System🌕

Somewhere out there exists a Solar System with multiple planets with intelligent life.

#QuantumPhysics was fundamental in my growing love for Astronomy and Astro-Physics. It’s hard to appreciate the boundlessness of possibilities of our Universe without a sound understanding of Quantum Physics. Physics in General, is one of the most important subjects for any Scientist.

The first exoplanet was discovered in 1992. Since, we’ve explored more and more including one in 2022, completely covered with water. TOI-1452, a literal Water World. #Exoplanets #Astronomy 🔭🧪

The #ISS orbits over 17K mph completing each orbit every 1.5 hours a day. We celebrate this marvels 26th Launch-aversary tomorrow, November 20th. 🔭🧪

As we approach the anniversary of the launch of the #ISS here’s one of my favorite views. The International Space Station, the product of 5 space agencies, has given us over 2 decades of breathtaking views like this. 🔭

Our perception of what’s needed to form life is based on Earth Science. What we’d need to survive. Our inability to survive is not indicative of another species that we aren’t aware of and their ability to form and survive. The Universe has endless possibilities. 🔭🧪

I’m sure not all #Exoplanets have life but so many have Earth like appearances. Just let your imagination run wild with theories. 🔭

My favorite Astronomy topic is Exoplanets. Imaging what life could be like, how far behind or more advanced they are. Fascinating. 🔭🧪 #SpaceFreak
