Tucking into a weekend frozen. I'm starting my 15th year as faculty. I can say this without reservation and with my full chest: While we are dealing with many meaningful and significant challenges, it has never been more interesting, exciting, and deeply fulfilling to practice medicine.
Happy to be part of a patient’s story.

It’s been a beautiful fall in Montreal. Wishing the best to all patients, and to all those who take care of them in any capacity.

This project will leverage banked DNA from over 2K patient partners, who have consented to genetic interrogation and data-sharing. Over 400 patients with rare neurologic disease will benefit from this remarkable scientific exploration. Bravo team!
A project led by Ziv Gan-Or at The Neuro of McGill University and Martine Tétreault at Université de Montréal has received more than $8 million to sequence the genomes of 8,700 people, to map the role of genetics in neurological disorders.
