Has the US totally lost interest in this kind of science? So happy that the ESA at least has not.

I have yet to see an analysis of how the huge spike in healthcare premiums will affect the overall economy. After all, an extra $200 or $300 or $500 for insurance will keep many people from buying new cars, upgrading appliances, or even getting their nails done. They won't be able to paper over it.
