As a Colorado alum still living in Boulder County, we decided to just try and indoctrinate young to hopefully prevent failure-related detections. Get him too invested young and he can't leave us (I just keep telling myself we're good parents)

I think our son is a few weeks older than yours, so can completely relate. The number of times I hear "oh! big truck!" from behind me in the rear facing carseat (so I can't see what he's looking at) on any random drive is impressive

god I hate the talking heads. Had never been a fan and was at a friend's house once and his girlfriend made us watch some concert of theirs and I went from not being a fan to a full hater just like that it was so intolerable

I have a buddy who is a pediatric cancer nurse. He got some ribbing from our group when when he first went to nursing school, but he loves it and makes good money. And, somehow, is able to separate his work life from his real life, in which he has two young sons
