A moment to suggest to @beckyselengut.bsky.social that the humble rutabaga is definitely not misunderstood in the land of Norwegian immigrants (having my Christmas at Luther buffet plate in my office before I head down to rove among tables of alumni in Norwegian sweaters).

Pro tip: if you are a Southerner and pick up a Tgiving meal from a restaurant in a northern state because they advertised “cornbread dressing” instead of stuffing, ascertain that it has more than a tablespoon of said dressing distributed through bread stuffing (😠).
