If you knew me on Twitter you know me here too as the same.
If they don't rule against Trump I can't see any Dem base being okay with a nominee not pledging to pack the courts in light of the entire ICE shitshow we've gotten already.

Fits that he's spamming *that* image at the Trump admin, holy moley!
January 26, 2026 at 6:26 PM
He's spamming that notorious image at the entire admin connected to immigration, holy moley
January 26, 2026 at 6:10 PM
I took a look, he's spamming *that* notorious image still in response to every Trump admin official tied to immigration policy
January 26, 2026 at 6:09 PM
I remember this being noticed in the VA/NJ 2025 polling too. Hmm . . .
January 22, 2026 at 4:01 PM
So this is how they make the W look more like an L, huh. Kind of a fascinating maneuver.
January 21, 2026 at 5:11 AM
The *GOP* (as in everyone there besides Trump) wouldn't normally care for the concessions they gave, but the ICE impositions are among the last thing Miller wants and he has Trump's ear the most atm.

This sounds about right - unlike Venezuela, it really does seem like Trump alone is in it for Greenland
January 20, 2026 at 5:57 PM
The obvious tell is besides the "memes" from the start of the admin, practically no one was clamoring for Greenland until he started making noise about it. It really is *just* his own personal ask.
January 20, 2026 at 5:53 PM
That would require invading *Denmark*, which is still a full boots on ground occupation anyway?

Like any military force to taking Greenland is going to have an indefinite ground operation. Avoiding it is like asking WWII to end in 1942 by demanding Hitler surrender verbally rather than going in.
January 19, 2026 at 10:56 PM
Sure, but your ultimate goal was still "get him *and get out*."

There is no "get out" for Greenland if you want to annex it.
January 19, 2026 at 10:43 PM
This is also like problem difference number seven on the list, but Venezuela did *not* leave any boots on the ground - just a dash, snatch and grab, and run.

Greenland ownership by definition can NOT not have boots on the ground indefinitely.
January 19, 2026 at 10:41 PM
Wouldn't they'd rather go in and punk the USMNT as a symbolic gesture anyway?
January 19, 2026 at 5:03 PM
Yeah I don't get this argument, do these people think there's going to be 0 R -> D base states from a baseline of 2008 for the rest of time?

GA alone should have nuked this argument lol.
January 16, 2026 at 11:13 PM
He even took down his twitter which he was keeping active simultaneously too :(
January 9, 2026 at 5:05 AM
I'd buy the argument of "time moves on" if they did anything more interesting if "what if everyone since then just died :)"
January 8, 2026 at 4:27 AM
What really makes this a funny one is the victim isn't one of their typical profiles.

Surburban wine mom with a kid? Probably one of the last targets they were thinking of.
January 7, 2026 at 11:35 PM
The same city that George Floyd happened in? jfc
January 7, 2026 at 7:37 PM
In this case it might not be a bad option tbh - the DFL had a lot of annoyed peeps when Walz announced another run, this allows for progression to happen as it allows both Senate and House progression to occur, something MN appreciates having.
January 5, 2026 at 10:19 AM
I excluded JUBILEE since that was a British/Canadian operation and AVALANCHE nearly repeated the same issues a year later at Salerno (this leads some to debate how much Dieppe really informed Normandy, but that's a different topic altogether)
January 5, 2026 at 6:55 AM
Ironically the US did a decent job of avoiding super hard contested landings themselves initially (WATCHTOWER and TORCH were relatively light if not outright unopposed), before running into the real nasties that would crop up like AVALANCHE and STALEMATE, and ofc the legendary D-Day
January 4, 2026 at 10:25 PM
combining this with the safehouse replica to train in, they 100% had this planned for months - so surely the xmas announcement was originally meant to coincide with this operation

Who draws more inspiration from Chuck Schumer, Europe or China
January 4, 2026 at 12:20 AM
The benefit of never testing your military in battle is you never get exposed (as Russia demonstrates)
