Some progress since I’ve been back. Thankfully there are spots in my art studio with similar lighting and as I’ve been trying / planning to do a self portrait from life I already had a set up.

My favorite part is actually the palette it’s such a weird shape and I was surprise i got it right(?) fairly painlessly. I made the mistake of opting for a small portrait here… brushes are not small enuf for them eyelids rn 🥲 #WorkInProgress #oilpainting #selfportrait #portrait #fineart
