I remember how the committee was offended that Bob Dylan was considering not even showing up and didn’t particularly care. They thought he should have been singing their praises, whereas he just shrugged, picked up the award and doesn’t really talk about it.

It was. Especially when they couldn’t give me an answer to why was a charge of several thousand dollars approved and they refused to do anything about it, but the purchases of around $50 or so that are legitimate keep getting flagged and canceled? I haven’t bought anything from them, since.

I had that happen with a massive charge on a credit card to Best Buy, who were useless, but the credit card company was very helpful. When I tried to buy things, Best Buy kept canceling those orders. I called customer service and asked them why they approved a large fraudulent charge, but not these?

The movie came out when I was in high school and another student - who was planning to see it - got mad at me for “spoiling the movie” after I said the boat sinks in the end. I thought they were joking, until it became clear that they weren’t.
