Three months ago, my painting teacher moved out of her studio and had an “everything must go” sale. I fell in love with one of her paintings, but it was out of the budget. Last week she let me know the painting was sold - then gave it to me because my wife got it for me as an early birthday gift!

A year ago I began watercolor painting. The big painting we did in my class was an Italian landscape. This week, I finished my favorite painting yet - Door on a Venetian Canal. Really cool to see how far I’ve come!

Last week my cat almost died, but an incredible team of vets saved her, including our regular vet and a team of round-the-clock emergency vets. So thankful for more time with this goblin (yes, her name is Trogdor)
