The ppl at the top will receive their immunizations. It is more about thinning the herd-the rest of us. On the other hand, if there are cases of polio, they will not have the vaccine to blame.

I do remember it that old tome-Hosea 8:7 "For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, *the strangers shall swallow it up.*" Some things about human nature, while not always intractable, are repeated far too often..

Curious-If smallpox or diphtheria came back bc ppl exercised their "individual autonomy" and 1/3 of their village gets wiped out-included friends & family-would they, at that point, be able to connect the dots(....)connecting their recklessness to the plague visited upon them? Asking for a friend.

You are obviously a person of discriminating tastes & vast erudition-I like the line preceding as well. "And tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes"-to the "unique" choreographic efforts (to YMCA) that we have seen from time to time. In all my years playing for dance-this is indeed "different"

Yes-this is true. I have anxiety issues and I am concerned about flu and Covid. I am not afraid of trains-indeed I am kind of a rail fan. However, if I am on the track and the train is headed in my direction-it is common sense-not anxiety that makes me jump off the tracks...

Well-according to certain ppl's logic (I use the term loosely) when the sun goes down there is no power-so there is that....and the solution to air pollution is to burn more "clean" coal...
