The more they try to normalize all of this, the more we need to mock it. We need to ridicule them relentlessly for the sheer absurdity of it all. Let them know we consider their “legacies” temporary inconveniences until we can rigorously prosecute them for all their crimes and remove the stains.

I have to admit that repeatedly rewatching The West Wing helped me cope through Trump’s entire first term.

Perhaps. I think it is brilliant. If he’s implicated, he knows it will come out, anyway. If he’s not, why let them get away with implying he is if they’re still hiding from it, themselves? Call their bluff.

It all makes sense now that we know the word “Witkoff” roughly translates as “Russian propaganda puppet.”

The kind that grifts, commits crimes, and personally benefits from the corruption they conceal.

If we are going to continue allowing this sort of crap, then we need to stop saying, “This is not who we are as a country,” because we are consistently proving this is EXACTLY who we are as a country.

I’m hopeful this Congress will enforce its will, but I will believe it only when they no longer have to say it because they actually did it.
