Before #SkinCancerAwareness month is up, I wanted to encourage everyone to see a dermatologist, especially if you notice something a little odd with your skin. Last year, I had a spot on my temple that turned out to be an early-stage basal cell carcinoma. Grateful we caught it so early.

Not everyone is so lucky.
