Posting a few Holocaust books not on many lists. Extinction tells the story of a son who abandons his family bc they aided & abetted nazis. He reluctantly inherits the fam estate after his parents die in a car crash. Despite its darkness the book’s righteous conclusion is damn satisfying #booksky

Another haunting masterpiece that grapples with post-Holocaust Europe. Sebald is one of my favorite writers of all time and a must read to understand the impact of the kindertransport.
