the way it opens is so perfect. the image of mount vesuvius erupting and swallowing the people of pompeii is compared to a barbecue! meanwhile the instrumental is this off kilter mix of dark alien synths and uneven drumbeat. The way it all comes together for the second verse is NUTS too. damn.
