I made a popsicle baby quilt last year for some new dads. This year I turned the leftover popsicles into mini quilts for the NICU. They’re small enough for scent bonding. 26 on their way. #quiltsky @elimccann.bsky.social

I don’t really appreciate all the prednisone side effects, but the increase in verbosity is handy. Not Maximum verbosity, but much quicker, coherent rejoinders are a 👍

I just made 6 phone calls, 4 I've been putting off for months. I guess it helps that I'm home sick (migraine, ear infection, sinus infection) and that the chocolate shake I had at lunch has made me 🤢 AND I don't want to clean Charlie the Hedgehogs cage feeling like this. 🦔

I just made 6 phone calls, 4 I've been putting off for months. I guess it helps that I'm home sick (migraine, ear infection, sinus infection) and that the chocolate shake I had at lunch has made me 🤢 AND I don't want to clean Charlie the Hedgehogs cage feeling like this. 🦔

I must say, flu and covid season is a great way to get sped thru your docs office. It’s sinus, ears, and a migraine; and I was a well behaved patient prepared to wait in my car and wear a mask 😷

Took Charlie the hedgehog to see Santa today. Santa’s first hedgehog and (believe it or not) his easiest animal of the day :-) Charlie was squirmy but didn’t poop or pee on Santa. Massive win! #hedgehogs

May have gotten carried away buying Legos today. I did also buy socks and a hat (not at the Lego store) so I did buy something practical. Just finding happiness where I can right now 😁🦔

2 days until my #ADHD testing appt (or at least an initial appointment). I started having doubts and then re-read the ‘adhd symptoms in women’ REPUTABLE sites…. Yeah. I’ll probably still start off with “all those memes…”

Etymology of the day: before a tapering piece of hanging ice was called an ‘icicle’ it was an ‘ickle’. In the Middle Ages people decided to add ‘ice’ for extra oomph and (tautologically) called it an ‘ice ickle’, until the two words eventually blended together.
