C? I lived in the suburbs but I'm not sure I ever encountered a Mall Santa. They were just on TV. I didn't care about Santa and knew my gifts came from family, yet I only OFFICIALLY realized it at age 8: "My mom and uncle are putting gifts under the tree... Oh, I guess Santa's not real after all."
