It's a published route called "SERMN South". It's usually used to escape bad weather but it burns fuel like crazy so they don't use it unless they don't have any other options.

I think DOGE set Vought back. Vought really wanted to do it under the radar and DOGE begin so ham handed about it made it clear to everyone what was going down causing resistance to pop up quicker and stronger.
