Well I fucked up the threading here, but it doesn’t matter.

When I finish reading and almost forget to put the bookmark back in. Bookmark falls on the floor. I have to go find the bookmark. Come on, man.

I’m noticing the effort it takes to keep the book open. A bit of juggling is often required. Barely a single hand operation, this book.

I store the book in my backpack. Mildly annoying to have to GO GET THE BOOK. It should just be in my hands, damnit.

When I read in the evening, I have to TURN THE BOOK TOWARD THE LIGHT like a cave man.

A sports coat can look better unbuttoned, to me. It’s a casual embellishment. But an unbuttoned suit looks like it’s trying to be inappropriately casual… except at a manufacturing machine trade fair, where people who do that just look like they’re a first time visitor.

It’s a mark of someone that dresses up so infrequently that they forget to button their coat when they stand up. And somehow it became important to mimic them? It became cool to look a bit disheveled.
