After barely any art this entire semester, I finally had enough time to sit down and draw and This is what I bust out.

Still got it

(Zine 3/3)
(TW: Sexually suggestive content)
Okay, look, I knew there would be weird weebs checking out the zines and I wanted to make some money. I had to do a lot of weird research for this, but I had fun imagining people’s reactions while flipping through this.
Theme: Horny

(Zine 2/3)
For the second zine, I wanted to capitalize on the medium of zines, just a fun mind-bendy thing.
Theme: Confused

(Zine 1/3)
Waking up from my two-month slumber to post 3 zines I made for a mini art fair.
First time making zines, I just tried to make something that would make people pick them up and feel ONE thing. I'll probably post again next year after finally graduating.
The first zine’s theme: Sad

Favorite Animated Short Film No. 4: There's a Man in the Woods
Another formative short film I saw almost 10 years ago. The slam poetry-style of narration always made it stand out to me and the young voice is a great reminder that this was literally done by teenagers.
So I drew a man in the woods.

Favorite Animated Short Film 3: Wade

A recent short but so impactful from Ghost Animation. Ten minutes about nature and humans with no second wasted (qualities it shares with the best Ghibli films). Here's Dadar rising out of the flood waters.

Favorite Animated Series/Pilots No. 4: Punch Punch Forever!

I didn’t grow up on Newgrounds or watch Speedoru much before, but none of that stopped me from loving this, right from the pilot. It felt like a mix of my favorite cartoons (Chowder, OK K.O.!) made for an older audience.

Favorite Animated Short Film 2: The Sad Man
Something about it (the simplicity, creepiness, sadness, and none of it overdone) really got to young me when I first watched it years ago. I put him in a lonely corner where he belongs. Just like it says in the description: "Something a little different"

Love wizards but gotta agree. Especially the way Pratchett wrote his version's differences

Favorite Indie Animated Series 3: Bigtop Burger
With the 5 year anniversary last month and Season 3 coming out, I just wanted to include this. Good animation, characters, voice cast, music, and a silly but emotional plot.
I also wanted Steve next to Pomni. A couple of clowns together.

Another birthday animation this month for a friend.

They provided their Pokemon avatar and a list of favorite Pokemon to choose from as a companion and I knew it had to be Quagsire. Animating them kept me sane and happy throughout this process.

In the original, the two are also more antagonistic, with Matsing being the stronger adversary and Pagong being the smaller, nicer, smarter underdog. I changed that to reflect the two types of people that help the growth of komiks: the creators and the readers.

In the original illustrated tale, the two animals find a banana tree and split it, the Tortoise growing the roots into a bountiful tree. I thought it'd be fun to relate this to the history of komiks, popularized through the two characters changing alongside komiks as a medium.

Comic process of making "Monkey and Tortoise Throughout History"
While researching comics for a college thing, I learned a bit about Filipino komiks, like how Jose Rizal's retelling of "The Monkey and the Tortoise" was one of the first examples of graphic literature in the Philippines.

"Monkey and Tortoise Throughout History"

A short comic about komiks, about the history of komiks in the Philippines.

Finally posted based on PICOF Tuwa anthology after attending PICOF 2025 (pictures to come).

Based on one of the first komiks recorded here by Jose Rizal.

A happy birthday animation commission for a friend: their version of lofi hip hop girl, complete with their daily tasks, cows, and embezzlement.

My birthday again (24).

I can't believe I'm supposed to be the same age as Absolute Batman.

DTIYS of Jaime from "I Ship Everyone Except For Me?!" by Chocnut-san
The premise sounds so fun so I had a lot of ideas. Can't wait to read it!

"Done in One Week", my entry in the Seven Lakes Komiks Festival's Seven Panel Komiks Making Challenge, winning 2nd Place.
With the theme "celebration of art" and the limit of 7 panels, I immediately decided to go for making it 1 panel per day in making a comic (very original, I know).
