Like renting at this point. Okay, so you don't have a landlord to end your lease, and your kids maybe inherit a home at the end (if they don't have to take over the mortgage) but it assumes you don't default at any point in 50 years, or interest rates don't rocket, and you lose your home anyway.

$600bn I expect.

I'm too busy not building a rocket to go to Mars to have time to not be US president. It's tough having so many things I simply refuse to do.

Being in the UK, thanks to the time difference I really can wake up every morning and ponder 'What has Trump done now' as I turn on the news.

I feel you you all, especially as we have people here trying to bring MAGA here and using all the same talking points.

It won't stop them trying. I think we all know AI often doesn't work well, and in many cases AI isn't even AI - just an existing service renamed.

As long as some people can make some money now from the hype, they'll be happy and we will pick up the pieces afterwards.

Yeah, but what about when you get a call at 2am on a cold winter morning to learn your sick gran has been rushed to hospital and you need to drive 800 miles without a single break? And by the time you get there, you'll need a new battery because they only last for 24 hours before catching fire. Huh?

Contrasts nicely with snakes on a plane...

Is this where Elon comes in? Is that why he wants to build these rockets?

Or Trump's cabinet.

How could you not want to experience a tiny road tunnel with manually driven cars going through something illuminated with colour changing LEDs from Temu?

In the winter, when generation is likely going to be nearer 20% of what I'm getting now, that's still hopefully going to cover most of our daily usage.

I'm now wishing I'd invested sooner - and think others need to look into it too.

Solar panels and batteries are cheaper than ever! Do it!!
