Not a comet. This is the planet Mercury and the tail is bc it’s so close to the Sun that the Sun is pushing Mercury’s atmosphere away. Details at today’s spaceweather.com

@bsky.app @support.bsky.team I when I send a link to a post as a text, it makes a background trying to match the average color. I wish you would stop that. In doing that, it took a nice photo and made it ugly. Just use a black background.
