I remember that! Although my crew were too busy sneaking smokes behind the crowd to pay attention. I do remember a couple of buddies lobbing snowballs over the heads of people in front of us. No clue if they actually hit anyone, I was too short to see.

I'm no zoologist, but 98% certain that is a ring-tail lemur, not a dog.

Same stretch I had 3 close calls with head-ons since April. Bad spot for cars swerving to avoid cyclists or pedestrians.
Too many folks speeding, the trees create deep shadows & block the view of the curves, so you're ontop of bikes before you know it.
