Granted, I don't spend much time here. But trying to familiarize myself with the site, I went to the Writing and Books tab, and had no idea what I was looking at with 90% of the posts. What the heck is that feed supposed to be? I know I'm old and slow, but guess I need more help than I thought.

I need to become more familiar with this place. It's laziness, admittedly, and a hesitancy to give up the old Twitter, which is both rotting from within and clinging to life, with a writing community I'm still fond of. How do I get over the duplication anxiety or accept a clean break from the old?

Okay, so I've just realized I'm a name snob. I see unusual names of popular authors or other personalities in print. By the time I hear how they're pronounced, I'm like, that's stupid, it should be pronounced my way.
