You don't have to "settle", but keep electoral reality in mind. "Abolish ICE" the slogan isn't super-popular yet outside of BSky, Reddit, and other parts of the online left. At this point, just having accountability for the abusive ICE agents would be a major ounce of progress.

I don't need Dems to say they will explicitly abolish ICE at this point, but to play the long game electorally. While "Abolish ICE" has gained a semi-decent amount of support, it's not popular yet despite what BSky & Reddit think. Focus on stuff like prosecuting abusive ICE members & cutting funding

They cut ties with her, presumably because she thinks P01135809's 2024 win was illegitimate and has urged Kamala Harris and other Democrats to fight to reverse it. Meidas and other big left-leaning content creators preferred to take the high road.
