Agree 💯. I'm fed up with the revisionism and gaslighting that happens when we lose to villa. Yes he's a decent manager but he was rubbish at Arsenal.... 🙄

Yeah this was my concern when we were linked with him. At the time I wanted Sesko. He's not been amazing either but at least he's young and can develop. Gyökeres is as good as he's ever going to be...

TBF everything I've read about him was that he's either a LB or a CB in a back three. Could be he's adjusting to being in a CB in a back four... 🤔

Losing 3 of your CBS is hard to mitigate for. If this happened to Liverpool or City they'd be playing players we've never heard of from their reserves...

On paper maybe but our away form hasn't been great of late. Points dropped in the last 3 is already 7. We can't be drawing or losing to Everton etc. Festive period is crucial that we make the home games count too.

I mean if Liverpool, City, Chelsea etc lost 3 of their CBS I think they would be doing a lot worse tbh. Cluster injuries are a massive issue

I'm not quite ready to write him off considering we aren't halfway through the season yet but he was not who I wanted us to sign and he's done nothing to prove me wrong so far...

I hope so. He's a decent player. I know sport is ruthless but it would be kinda sad for him to go from being club captain at Brentford to not playing at all at arsenal. Zubi and Rice are clearly better but he's good enough to play a role this season imo.

He previously stated he was going to do 2 years at arsenal before returning to Brondby but surely he'll be looking to leave sooner if he doesn't start getting some minutes. Zubi and Rice can't play every week...

Tbf they have to say stuff like that. It's their job to create a narrative around every result. Personally surprised they aren't saying Liverpool are back in it having won today....
