I did a think #leica

Leica Q3. There is something in it. Something that I can't explain. I like every bit of it. #leica #leicaq3

I sold my Nikon ZF and bought a Leica Q3. The exchange could seem irrational in many ways, but when I revise my Lightroom catalog and see which cameras bring me more joy when I see their photos (not only connected to a memory, but in a broader matter), Leica is always up there. Always.

The Q3 28mm for travel, family photos, street and EDC? Worth it?
April 9, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Thinking about changing my Nikon ZF for a Leica Q3 for family, portraits, travel and street. I loved the Q2 but then I sold it (hate myself). Does anyone has the experience with the Q3? 18.9 mp seems more than enough for a 50mm crop. But then again, I have never cropped an image to this size…

Ok people, I need suggestion on what artist and writers and other interesting people are using as their daily apps, like browser, mail, photo editing, etc. Its very interesting to know why they use those too. I have been inspired to try new software while reading @craigmod.com newsletters.

More people are switching from U.S.-made software to European alternatives. It’s a growing niche, which could be good for competition. But I’d rather see a global open-source collaboration instead of closed regional alternatives. Curious what @craigmod.com thinks. #tech #opensource

GAS is real, but my needs are more real. This is what happened: my first camera was a Nikon and I loved it, but then came the Fujis, Sonys and Leicas. All of them wonderful, but when the Nikon ZF came… that was too much. When I sold my Leicas to come back to Fuji it felt like a big downgrade 1/2

I got back from Leica to Fuji. It was not an easy decision, but with the money I freed I bought two cameras that did 90% of the job of the Leicas for 20% of the price of one body. The result in the image department was negligible for the work I do.

Great book to read on the train while admiring the nature outside. You get another perspective of the world around us. Recommended!

My and my Leica

I love art and photography. Those two things are what keeps me engaged and free from the poison of the day-to-day live. It’s what I believe: beautiful things will save us all.

The SL2-S is king, but the M10!! That Leica is sooo beautiful!
November 14, 2024 at 8:25 PM
The SL2-S must be one of my favorite Leica cameras ever!

The incredible urge to create is killing me. Ok maybe not that, but my day job is, not allowing me to take time making things. My fantasy needs some kind of canalization with hard work and hard work implies time. So I can’t wait to take the step and become a maker 100%.

This is another example of the low light capabilities of the #leica SL2-S. At 25000 ISO!!!!

I have been trying my new SL2-S. I’m impressed by the low light capabilities. It’s also a tank and the ergonomics are fantastic! I love this camera so much! #leica #sl2s #photography
