Nope, just a reaction from an overactive imagination (or ESP?). She took one look at the comfy old brown chair when it arrived and declared it haunted.

Fond memories of 8 year old neice visiting me & wanting to make custard (with powder). 'Mum!' She exclaimed, 'Joanna's custard powder is older than me!'. It was fine (although white not yellow).

But I know as soon as I do I will need those venerable chestnuts in brine for a recipe.
