goddamnit the pharmacy called me at stupid o'clock 8 this morning and I didn't notice till 3:30 i.e. after 5pm central when they close

we are doing experimental cooking. The pumpkin rolls are about a cup of regular wheat flour, 4 cups of spelt flour, and a dusting of buckwheat.

I was hoping to start the bread and leave it to rise while I went to the store, but apparently my yeast has expired.

OK, maybe I need yeast as well as eggs

feeding the yeast from my fridge a little bit of sugar to see if it still active, it smells good but it's supposed to foam

I ask because I personally don't have a "day job" due to chronic illness but I do have to rely on family to pay the bills
