Fingers crossed! It's a very solid JRPG that diverges from the OG in a lot of ways but it oozes charm and has a very nice OST to boot. Some of the coziest towns this side of FFVIII or IX. Definitely not as epic as LoL1, and the story is more derivative. But I'm very fond of LoL2.

Hell yeah! I replayed this not too long ago. Obv not as good as Legend of Legaia 1 but it really is a great, cozy JRPG with a surprising amount of depth. Once you get those variable arts the game gets a bit silly. Not that I mind getting OP in a game.

It is! OG Tomb Raider 1 is a nightmare. St. Francis Folly, you can forget it! Oh let me save after the Atlas room by going to like the one save point in the whole mess of a room as bats gnaw on my scalp. 💀

It's super helpful in certain spots! And, well . . . saving any time like TR2 in 1 and 3 is a big ol plus in my book. lol I think the new graphics are very charming and pretty as well. Locking the butler in the freezer has never looked so good!

Oooo, Xenosaga. I have a copy of 1 and 2 but haven't played them. Watched my brother play a lot of 1 way back when. I'm pretty fond of Xenogears as well. I should really play them, problem is 3 is hella expensive now.
And I really loved Vengeance! Never played OG myself. Hope you enjoy DDS 2! :D

Girllll, go play DDS 2. Scram. That game is a masterpiece. The regular battle theme does not need to go so hard at all. And yeah DDS 1 is just phenomenal. I've been thinking of replaying it ever since I played SMT V: Vengeance last year.

Ahhh, SMT: Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2! Hells yeah! And Evergrace, which is super interesting to look back on because FromSoft made it. And it's basically janky, weird-anime Dark Souls.

I mean, have you seen Chengdu? Parts of China look like the Jetsons compared to the US. Decades of us being a political hydra biting off its own heads has left the country falling woefully behind to the point that even social regression is beginning to set in.
