Can’t speak for others but my general goal is to drive a good story, find a place for good intrigue, make the players laugh and generally have a good time. The audience can hear if the players are genuinely enjoying themselves and if we aren’t having fun, what’s the point?

I have a very diverse group of players at my table so I lean in to what they are familiar with and what is comfortable for them when making npcs. BBEGs, however are another story. There must be substance to a character, pc/npc, for believability if even a short while.

I do. I don’t make overly feminine voices or stray into negative stereotypes, though. I feel it is important that you consider the character and the player’s views as well. Your concerns?

They seem to look for the easiest solution, detour immediately, break through the bridge closed sign and fly off into the Hudson while complaining about how they are losing money. But hey, what do I know?
