For all the talk about decentralised social media, most users are on the flagship generalist #Mastodon and #Bluesky servers, which tend to have lower moderation standards & ToS than community-based servers. #Fediverse

Although the fediverse is in no way scraping-proof, if someone did this so blatantly here they would be widely shunned, defederated, and blocked. The Bluesky spokesperson only offers a milquetoast statement about maybe letting you opt out in the future, suggesting they think this is OK. Point in fedi's favor.

So happy I got to be part of the Trans Pride Australia float at #sydneymardigras last night. The D*Les on Bikes After Party was a great time too. Got to bed at 3:30am.
