fall colors remind me of
Ukraine; both aching beauty,
needless suffering

My beloved friend Susan Griffin has met death.
She is now gone beyond.
Her work, her words have touched so many lives.
Know how much you were loved....

Jane Goodall has died, Her spirit, wisdom, and courage live on through her tireless work to protect the environment, a refuge for all life. I am so grateful for all I learned from her over many years: teach the children, love the wilds, and live with peerless integrity and care.

Go, Jane, go! She's rounded up hundreds of Hollywood figures to revive the First Amendment organization her father championed. Fonda, in her late eighties, is in her prime as a climate champion and a powerful voice for justice.
